Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra, Part 9

[Series of Master Shen-Long expounding on the Prajna Paramita (Perfection of Transcendent Wisdom) Heart Sutra]

What kind of habit should we form? A habit of being able to relax at any time and in any place. This is very important.

This kind of relaxing does not mean you do not care – this mental attitude is extremely subtle. This is not to say that you are not concerned with everything; rather, it is to reduce pressure on yourself, whether in front of the public or alone by yourself. Some people, when in front of the public, will be ill at ease and uncomfortable – it is the pressure. Also, at the time one faces oneself, and during that moment of transition, one gets agitated – this is also called pressure.  This kind of problem needs to be resolved by a method.

Relaxing; in fact, to speak bluntly, when one has achieved true relaxation, then that is called “Samadhi”. Samadhi refers to being pure and having a mind completely without fluctuations. One must not misunderstand the cultivation to Samadhi (the highest level of the mind unmoved and undisturbed) through meditation by just being seated there; this is only one of ten thousand types and one of numerous methods. In fact, the high classification of Samadhi is when the mind is unmoved every second. For instance: When war is coming, he sees the war as a dream.

Would a bullet hit him?

Basically, he does not react to it. Even if the bullet penetrates his body, his body is transparent. This is not a fairy tale, it’s because you have not verified into the truth. After you verified into the truth, just like scientists obtaining proof, after verifying by experience rather than theory, then you will truly see it. Before, I talked about how atoms and ions exist, and modern scientists have admitted that they do exist and refer to them as wave motions. Wave motions are very intriguing; thirty years ago, scientists were still unable to prove it; why can they do so now?

The scientific instruments are more advanced now.  Unpleasantly said, scientific technology is king, but the human mind has not advanced.

Currently we tend to rely on scientific technology too much which will hugely ruin us, for it will be hard for the human brain to recover back to their normal stage again.

Therefore, when other people talked about the year 2000 coming, we all became nervous. We were afraid that by that time we were going to run out of water and electricity, which was all controlled by computers. I am telling you, if your mind becomes purified of defiling illusion, this kind of phenomena fundamentally would not exist.

Why? All the Milky-Way galaxies are an illusory dream and vision in bubbles. When one has truly seen the true facts, then one can see the wave motions of the stored memory bank in every brain.

This is very scientific and can be tested. For instance: many people do not believe they had a previous life or they do not believe in the six realms of reincarnation, but hypnosis has proven to them that they had a past. For instance: one was an extraterrestrial, an Egyptian, an American or from all other countries. How they died is documented in history records, and one can even find one’s tomb. There is a book called Many Lives, Many Masters; I believe many people have read this book.  This book was written by a western scientist and sought to prove whether the six realms of reincarnation existed. It proved that a person has reincarnated not just one life but many life terms through many existence of world-periods, which represents a kind of phenomena. This phenomenon shows that you have measureless and boundless dreams – we call it illusory dreams and visions in bubbles.

我們要養成一個隨時隨地效鬆的習慢,這個很重要。

這個放鬆,並不是說你在不在乎。這個心態是極其細微。不是說你什麼事情莫不關心,是減少你對自己的壓力,不論是在大眾面前也好,是獨處時候也好。有的在大眾面前急促不安,壓力。還有自己面對自己過度的時候,他不安;這也叫做壓力。這種問題,要用方法解決。

放鬆,實際上講穿來,真正的放鬆就叫「禪定」。「禪」就是絕對單「純」,定完全沒有波動。一般人千萬不要誤會,「參禪」是坐在那個地方打坐;這只是其中千萬個方法之一而已。實際上高級「禪定」,是分分秒秒心都不動的。譬如說:戰爭來了,他把戰爭看成一場夢。

那個子彈打不打得到他?

他根本就沒有反應。那子彈穿透了,他身體是透明的。這絕對不是神話,因為你沒有「證入」。你要證入以後,就像科學家他有證據,他要證實以後,他真正見到。以前我講,還有原子、離子;現代科學家承認沒有這個東西,叫波動。這很奇妙的,三十年前,科學家還不能證明,為什麼現在可以?

現在機器進步,講得難聽一點是什麼?科技當王。但人的心並沒有進步,我們現在的傾向靠科技,完了。大大完蛋,人的腦袋很難恢復正常。

所以人家講千禧二千年到來,我們都很緊張,有沒有?

那個時候怕斷水、斷電,那些都是電腦控制。如果你的心清淨,這種現象根本就沒有。

為什麼?所有銀河系都是夢幻泡影,真正見到真相的人,他真的見到的是所有一切腦袋中所貯存的記憶體在波動。

這個就非常科學的,因為這個是可以測出來的。譬如說:有很多人不相信前生,或者六道輪迴,但經過催眠以後,證明他有過去。譬如說:他是外星人,他是埃及人,他是美國人,他是各個地方的人;他怎麼死的,本史上有證據,他的墳墓都可以找到。有一本書「前世今生」,我相信很多人都看過。這本書是西方的一些科學家,他們想證明六道輪迥的真虛。他是證明人、輪迴,不只一生,多生多劫。這代表的是現相。這個現象就是表示你有無量無邊的夢,我們叫「夢幻泡影」。
