Dragon means inconceivable being, one who has great freedom. Awakening means all beings are inherently endowed with Buddha-nature, and can fully enlighten to become Buddha. Therefore, Awakening Dragon means all sentient beings can bring mental disturbances to an end and attain the truth, and are perfectly complete in the way leading to Buddhahood. Hence, all is Shen-Long (Incredible Dragon) and that is all.

龍者，不可思議，得大自在。覺者，乃眾生本具佛性，悉可覺悟成佛。故龍覺者，即一切含靈皆可斷惑證真，圓成佛道是也！故一切皆神龍耳！
